Rovinj
Rovinj - On the steep peninsula that used to be a small island there is a mosaic of old stone houses, palaces, winding narrow streets and the town's "crown" is the magnificent church of St. Euphemia with one of the tallest bell towers in Istria offering the breathtaking view of the picturesque small port, some of 22 islets of the Rovinj archipelago and the surrounding abundant vegetation.
Climate is mild Mediterranean. Springs are abundant and green, summers are dry and warm, falls pleasant and winters mild with the cold northeast wind - bora- sometimes blowing.
